[Gbbopen-announce] Portable Threads Interface Version 2.2.1 released

Version 2.2.1 of the GBBopen Portable Threads Interface module has
been released.  Version 2.2.1 is a minor update of Version 2.2 (which
added periodic functions on all platforms with
threads/multiprocessing).

The major change in Version 2.2.1 is removal of backward-compatibility
support for all deprecated V1.0 entities:

In addition, support for Digitool MCL has been restored in 2.2.1.
